In addition to her research, Dr. Cadiero-Kaplan provides state and national leadership in the area of English teaching and language policy. Cadiero-Kaplan has worked with lobbyists from various English learner advocacy groups to inform the State Board of Education and the State Assembly on issues related to English learners.
